In youth castles
are built of sand
ever shifting
and restless
Somewhat as beach
combers.
Eventually a tide
swept in,
gathering them in
angry arms
whirling
expectations to sea.
Here of late castles
appear on high ground
undisturbed.
Who can touch the sky?
