My Dear Mother
I do bother
For your selfless service
With all fulfilled promises
I only think
And again sink
What a way to live?
For dreams to relive
You could spend
Time easily and end
Your life with full pleasure
But you made us fully secured
You told us about lies
About your effort and tries
You worked for us day and night
So we grew effortless and felt right
It was not you
But divine spirit seen through
It was not open for anybody’s view
But we all owed and it is very much due
We have neither right to lament
Nor to feel bad to resent
You did what you felt so desirable
To make us worth and capable
You must be placed among stars
But still remain with us as part
Precious jewel is always to be adored
Remembered in memory and stored
Not all the moms may be same
But why do I think so and blame?
I must think not so and feel ashamed
As such feeling should have not at all come
I bow head in respect
Feel proud of your act
You were the only one in world
To offer us warmth and feel self very much cold
