I caught a tadpole in a bog
He was a bullfrog polliwog.
His tail was all wiggly
And he got us all giggly
As he changed into a frog.
First his legs they grew
And then his tail he threw.
He shed his old clothes
As he metamorphosed
And began his life anew.
My Sis read a story in a book
And that was all it took.
She almost did shout
‘I’ll have to try it out! ’
As she gave me a very strange look.
So she held him in a clinch
And she did never flinch.
She kissed him on his mouth
And it turned him inside out
And he changed into a Prince.
Just like the story they told
In those fairy tales of old.
But what the hell
You can never tell
What will come out of God’s mold.
Just take a look around you
And it will astound you
At the stuff that God’s made
Since Eve stood in the shade
And ate of the fruit that confounds you.
