Creations Of Sunsets In August- – Poem by Frank James Ryan Jr (FjR)
I’ve watched the iridescent pour, of an August Sunset
into a rippling sea, turning colours and hues of red
by the magnificence- of a burnt western sky, falling;
changing gold to amber, wine to crimson, finely blending-
in variable nuance until afternoons Sun empties its last-
breath of verve into the even’tide of a Summers Full Moon.
I’ve seen, and the experience was resplendent as spot-lite
on sea-glass, re-enforcing potentate of science and nature-
and all they created… after God created them all.
