We miss you mother much and dad as well;
Eight years ago, this date, you had to go;
God’s grace remained with you, your age did tell;
Your separation, children can’t bear, oh!
God heard your pleas to leave the world that day;
You served Him well and slogged all life for all;
You kept His tenets, walking in His way;
The happy Lord just heard your anguished call.
By sheer will-power, you steered your ship of life;
The way you loved your people was so great;
You prayed always and smiled even in strife;
We can’t forget the bliss and food we ate.
It seems as if you have not left us, mom;
We’ll meet again and talk – that day will come.
Written on the eighth death anniversary of our beloved Mom
