Sonnet: The World Is Too Much For Us

When devils stay with glee while angels flee,
And rabid-dogs in estrous-cycles run;
When poisonous snakes infest campus freely,
And contractors have sex with dames for fun!

When Ethics is lost amidst professions,
And men have turned immoral to the core,
When world goes fast-forward in lust/ passions,
And justice closes upon poor, its door!

When trees are cut and sold illegally,
And rosters have the names of deceased men;
When roads are laid o’er night most awfully
And when like tigers prowl outside their den.

O God, How can innocent persons live?
O God of Righteous, an answer give.
