When buttermilk has turned just too sour,
Much fermentation has made it unfit;
How can you make it potable, brother?
Just pour it down the drain or any pit!
When your best friend has turned worse than your foe,
Forget the past good days and live, brother;
Why think of him and add up to your woe?
There are much greater things to much bother.
When milk gets spilt and flows upon the floor,
When broken gets a trophy of quartz-glass,
Shed not your tears uselessly any more;
A dog’s a dog; an ass always an ass!
Just draw a line for everything in life!
With God beside, you need not care for strife.
