The road to fame is predestined by God;
God gives the freedom to make it or not;
Happy’s the man who with His help has trod;
By leaps and bounds, He changes his sad lot.
The man who thinks he can do things by Will,
Does get some success at the very start;
But soon, his mind and body grow so ill,
By himself, he cannot further his art.
The man of wisdom makes it to the last;
Maybe, by struggle but is blessed by God;
His sufferings are just a thing of past;
He is not proud and thanks the mighty Lord.
More things are wrought with God for help beside;
Things click better when in God you abide.
