Another day yet breaks when comes Sun-rise,
To show that Hope is not lost forever;
The living are now more foolish or wise;
Some change for the better; some can never.
Unbearable’s the scorching Sun at noon,
The peak of every man’s activity;
The tired mind and body tend to swoon,
As Sun-set covers village and city.
And soon the twilight gives in to night-fall;
The Moon and Stars come one by one in view;
And sleep engulfs many men, if not all;
It is still day at night for select few!
If not for night, where would be next day’s dawn?
If not for day, could night be again born?
