Sonnet- Give Me 0 God My Better Days

When will I be freed of this nagging ache?
When will my mind be tranquil forever?
When will the truth come out about the fake?
When will my connections with sin sever?

Great lies some people speak of me, umptine;
Time does not favor Upright ones at all;
The havoc’s planned in ways rather unseen;
They ignore wilfully the Maker’s call.

Give me the break much needed God, I ask;
My foes are growing wily day by day;
Help me 0 God to complete my main task;
I must not fear the devils anyway.

My heart to Thee, O God, I have given;
And let my life by Thee be thus driven.
