Everyone can write poetry,
but they don’t;
nor do many
go out of their way to read it.
Skill makes a lot of it stilted.
‘A stilt’ in France is ‘Une échasse’.
‘Une châsse’ is ‘A frame’ and ‘A mount’.
Châsse Blanc is not a mountain.
‘Guindé’ is ‘Stilted’, ‘Stiff’ and ‘Starchy’.
‘Une fontaine’ is ‘A fountain’.
‘Nous y comptons bien’ is ‘On it
we’re countin’.
