My seasons have come and gone
When the sun was young,
My spirit was sharp
As the moon knows when to give it up,
My instinct confirms the clockwork of this night
Don’t ask me how I know that,
I just do
Something in the wind
Impels me to seek a resting place,
Away from my lords and friends
Somehow, I need privacy,
Maybe I shall pray,
I just don’t know
Yet, life was good!
From the mittens of a nursery rhyme,
To an alley of many pleasures
I must confess,
I will miss the night fights,
As well as that stupid drunkard
Maybe we can both leave on the same train?
On second thought,
It is not in a cats nature to share his bed,
For everyone knows,
It has always been about us
Such is the life of a cat
