I once thought of asking God,
Why His world has turned so odd,
Why He lets poverty be,
Injustice around that we see,
Men lost in mires of misery,
Many ills that need not be,
Why crooks are not taken to task,
But was afraid he might ask:
To thy cavils culprit thou be,
To all thy queries cause be thee.
