Wanton, weird and wayward,
It’s hard knowing this world
That provokes the noble good,
And pampers pretentious prude!

aho bata mahat kaśhţamviparītam idam jagat |
yena apa-trapate sādhuha-sādhuh tena tuśhyati || vana 2-64 ||
Yudhishthir after presenting his views asked sage Shaunak about his opinion on the duties of a man. The sage averred, ‘this world is full of contradictions’. Mahabharata is full of words of wisdom on many subjects. During the exile, the Pandu princes met many sages and seers with whom discussion and dialogue followed. Vana Parva is full of such discussions in a satsanga.
